A "Thank you" for Hanneke's sketch
Woo hoo, I finally got a chance to sit down and create something for Hanneke's sketch! This sketch was so beautiful I just knew I had to use it!
I pulled out some BG sultry paper that I'd been hoarding, I thought the paisley pattern complimented the shape of Hanneke's card. I borrowed the idea to use the sketch as a pattern from the lovely and talented Rae Barthel, but before printing it I elongated it slightly to fit an envelope that I wanted to use. DO NOT look too closely at the stiching! I can sew a straight line (sort of) but the curves on this were a bit out of my league I'm afraid. (a seamstress I am not) The fuzzy flower center is one I pulled out of some silks that I used elsewhere. I saved it cause it was such a fun color! I cut the long plastic piece off the back and glued it on top the Primas.
Thanks to Hanneke for such a lovely sketch to work with!
Hope everyone had a great holiday...I actually had two, one yesterday with my husbands family and one the day before with mine. I think I gained 10 lbs!
Thanks for visiting!
