Well it's the 20th of the month and that means a new challenge at Caardvarks! This time round the challenge is to use Kraft. This really was a challenge for me. I love the way kraft looks on other people's projects, but I'm never quite sure what to do with the stuff myself. Anyway, here is what I came up with:
Supplies:CS: Bazzill, Plain Kraft: Paper Reflections (from M's), Patterned Kraft: Making Memories Love Notes collection, Bird and Branch Sticker: Friendly Forest Flocked Stickers by Colorbok, Flower Pin: Making Memories, Velvet Ribbon: Dashes Dots and Checks (from M's), Alphabet Rub Ons: Doodlebug, Border Punch: Martha Stewart, Flower Punch: $1 bin at M's, White Pen: Gelly Roller by Sakura, Cloud Stamp: by me, Other: White acrylic paint
The paper with the clouds came plain, I stamped the clouds using white acrylic paint. I actually created the cloud stamp myself, I had my hubby cut some small square pieces of wood for me to use as mounts. Then I layered 2 sheets of kraft foam together sketched out a shaped that I liked, cut it from the foam then adhered to the wood block...really pretty easy to do. The bird on branch is a flocked sticker from Colorbok's Friendly Forest line, I used my whit gelly roll pen to add detail on the wing and faux stitching around the border.
I also have another toot to share today! 2 of my cards were picked up for the September/October edition of Paper Crafts! Woohoo, I'm so glad I finally stopped being chicken and decided to submit my work!
TGIF everyone!
