Celebrate!

Here's a little somethin' I whipped up for this weeks Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World.

These colors and images were just too good to pass up!

And my interpretation with a little help from some fabby American Crafts papers and some handmade roses:

Ive been seeing these spiraled roses everywhere and I just had to give making some of my own a go. I changed mine up a bit by cutting them with scalloped scissors and then smashing them a bit. I did this both to distress them (which I think is kind of a cool look) and to flatten them out a little. The banner was cut from some fabulous Dear Lizzie paper and the clouds are from the Heat Wave line, both by American Crafts.

OK, quick post...it's getting late and I am off to bed!

Wow Heidi....this card is AWESOME!! I am loving the banner, the stitching, and your hand-made roses on the sky background.. I have been looking at the Tuesday Trigger and I know I want to, no....need to do something with it....I just can't quite pull it together. Maybe I can get some time today. Thanks for sharing!!
