Here is what I created using the Backyard Birds Set and Christmas Nested Sentiments:

Cardstock: (white) Georgia-Pacific, (brown woodgrain texture) Gmund Savanna, (kraft) The Paper Co., Stamps: (Backyard birds Set, Christmas Nested Sentimensts) JustRite Stampers, Ink: (black)Versafine, Twine: Martha Stewart, Pin: Maya Road, Border Punch: Fiskars, Dies: (Circles, Circles Small, Inverted Scallop Circles Nestabilities) Spellbinders
Size: 4.25"x5.5"
I kept the card pretty simple, choosing to focus on the cardinal which I paper pieced and popped with foam tape. I added a little twine and a stick pin for sparkle.
