No power, 108 hours and counting.Sorry the lack of, well anything from me lately. We were hit with one seriously nasty snow and ice storm on Thursday, lost power and still don't have it back. I'm hoping that it will be back on before I fly out on Thursday to visit family and head off to CHA.
Without going into all the grimy details I'll just say that we do not have any gas appliances, nor do we have an alternative heat source, so no power means, no hot water, no heat, no cooking. I have been wearing a snow suit in my house and can see my breath which, I don't have to tell you, really sucks. I finally made it down the hill today to find an internet connection, so I can draft a few posts and let people know I'm alive :)
Hope you are warm wherever you are!

Oh my goodness! We were without power for four days here (Seattle eastside), and that was just about all I could handle. Hang in there!
Oh my! My parents live in the PNW and and have been having crazy weather. I know it's silly of me to say stay warm, but stay warm! :)
Heidi, I'm sending warm thoughts your way! I'm sure California will seem even more wonderful after what you've had to live with the past number of days!!! Good luck!
Oooh, not fun! Hoping your power is back on soon!! I know it will be hard to leave your family if things aren't righted, yet, but have a great time at CHA!!!
Oh my gosh Heidi that is one serious storm! Here I am in Ca and its been nice and sunny until last weekend it finally rained...I hope your power comes on soon!! Are you staying warm??
Hang in there ...we lost power too a few months ago and it was tough. Hope it comes back quickly for you.
Good luck!! Fingers crossed and prayers that your power comes on soon!! And that you have lots of blankets in the meantime.
Wow, that's terrible Heidi!! Hope you're all staying warm there. I'll keep you in my thoughts for power soon.
I live in Kettle Falls which is NE Washington and thank goodness we haven't lost power. At least you had the ski outfit!
You have my sympathy. We have been without power two winters in a row for 6 days. I now know I am not Rebecca Boone (Daniel Boone's wife) and have no desire to be her. Best of luck with the return of power.
Hope you are well, and the power is on by now!! Good luck!!
Yikes girl! Thinking of you!
That's crazy stuff! MN is having an unusually mild winter so far, and I forget what the rest of the conyry is going thru. Sometimes, no fun. Hope everything's back to normal soon.
