Skipping Stones Designs

Hi everyone!

Guess what? I'm guesting at Skipping Stones Designs this month! What's even more fun is that I am the sketch artist for the month :)

I love sketches, love designing them, love using them. They are just a really great way to get started.

Here's the card I designed with my first sketch for the month using the "Always Here" set from Skipping Stones Designs.

 Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned Paper: (Fabrications) Teressa Collins, Stamps: (butterfly and sentiment from the "Always Here" set) Skipping Stones Designs, Ink: (Paris Dusk) Memento, Markers: Copic, Dies: (Standard Circles SM, Standard Circles LG, Classic Scallop Edgeabilities, Classic Decorative Inserts One) Spellbinders™ Paper Arts, Ribbon: Offray, Other: Aileens Paper Glaze
Size: 5.5"x4.25"

That Flourished Butterfly is positively swoon-worhty! I stamped it in dark blue then colored it with lighter blues. I am so diggin' blue and yellow together right now!

To check out the sketch I created and maybe even play along for the chance to win some free stamps (!!) check out the Skipping Stones Designs blog.

Have a beautiful day!
Heidi

Many cards make me smile and go "pretty", then click away. This one made me stop and study it. It really resonates. Beautiful!
