I am absolutely thrilled to be the guest designer for Avocado Arts this month!
June's stamp set is, "Let's Catch Up"
and here's what I created with it:
I used the houndstooth strip from the set to create the background strip, and then stamped the sentiment and mustache in black and the bow tie in red to match the background. To enhance the old timey feel I was going for (think barber shop quartets and soda shoppes) I matted my focal point with Fleur Di Lis rectangle from Spellbinders to mimic a fancy old frame.
