With Father's Day fast approaching I thought I'd share a card for dear old dad.
I broke out the vellum for this one :) Has anyone else noticed that vellum seems to be making a real comeback? When I first started paper crafting, it was everywhere. Patterned, colored, embossed all kinds of the stuff and then it seemed to just kind of disappear. Lately though I feel like I've been seeing around again and since I liked it the first time around, I thought I'd break some out of my stash.
Supplies:
Cardstock: (ivory) WorldWin, Patterned Paper: ( Navy floral, Sunswept, Letter Tiles from the Splendor collection) (Provence Plaid from the Bonjour collection) GCD Studios, Vellum: Grafix, Ink: ColorBox, Die: (Jar Labels) Spellbinders™ Paper Arts, Hole Punch: Fiskars, Corner Rounder: We R Memory Keepers
Size: 4.25" x5.5"
I paired my vellum with some "Splendor" papers from GCD Studios. This is such a feminine looking collection overall, but there are plenty of neutrals that can be used in a masculine way too.
I had fun using vellum to create another card that you can find in this months issue of GCD Studios online magazine, The Paper Cut.

It's full of some pretty great projects, definitely worth checking out!
Have a great day!
