I made my card with the new Hexalongs set!

Supplies:
Cardstock: (white) Georgia Pacific, (pink, orange, yellow) American Crafts, Patterned Paper: (Fact 6x6 pad) Basic Grey, Stamps: (flower and leaf from the "Bold Blooms" set, Sentiment from the "Word Salad" set) Paper Smooches, Ink: (Navy) Fresh Ink, (green) ColorBox, Adhesive dots: My Mind's Eye, Dies: (Hexalongs) Paper Smooches, Die Cutting Machine: (Grand Calibur) Spellbinders
Size: 4.25"x5.5"

I love this set! Hexalongs are just what they sound like, extended hexagons...such a unique take on the hexagon trend!

I created chains with my Hexalongs by die cutting the shape and then using the smaller die to cut the center. I snipped an opening on one side of each, so they could be linked together. Because I love the look of hard and soft together I added some flowers and leaves from the "Bold Blooms" stamp set in a contrasting color. I finished up with a sentiment from the "Word Salad" set.

Okee-dokee, that's it from me, make sure you head on over to Kalyn's blog and all the DT girls' blogs for more chances to win some super cute stamps!!

Have fun and good luck!
Heidi
